Privacy policy

Last updated: 27 October 2026

Poultry Curve is a farm management app for poultry farms in Pakistan. This policy explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, where it is kept, who can see it, and how you delete it. “We” means the Poultry Curve team; “you” means anyone who uses the app or this website.

What we collect

  • Your account: your name, your phone number (it is your login), your password (stored only as a one-way hash that nobody can read back), your email if you add one, and your language. Your account and your business each get an account number (ID) from our server.
  • Your business and farm records: business name, city, address and logo; farms, sheds and flocks; daily logs (feed, deaths, weight, water, eggs); sales, bills and expenses; parties, udhaar and payments; cash and bank accounts; staff, attendance and payroll; partners, assets, medicine stock, vaccines and health cases.
  • Photos and files you add: photos of bills and receipts, photos of sick birds, payment screenshots and your logo.
  • Messages: what you type to the Munshi assistant, and the messages you send to our support team. To answer you, Munshi sends your message, the recent chat, your name, your business name and city, and the farm records needed for the answer (for example sales, balances, staff and party names) to our AI provider OpenRouter, which passes them to an AI model provider (currently Google’s Gemini). Phone numbers and emails are left out unless you ask about a contact. If you report a Munshi answer, the answer and your report go to our support inbox.
  • Device information for reminders: if you turn notifications on in a web browser (the Android app does not use push notifications), the push address of that browser (a technical address used only to deliver your reminders) and the device type.
  • Technical information: the app version and, when you set up a Bluetooth shed device, the phone platform and any error code, to fix problems; and your IP address, kept in sign-in code records and the business activity log for security (not used to find your location).
  • Shed sensors, if you connect them: temperature, humidity and gas readings.
  • This website: the contact form and the delete-account form send what you type to our server. The website sets no advertising or analytics cookies.

App permissions (Android)

  • Camera: used only when you choose to take a photo of a bill or a sick bird; the app opens the phone’s camera app and asks for no camera permission of its own.
  • Nearby devices (Bluetooth): only to find and set up your own shed devices (Settings → Devices). On Android 11 and older, Android requires the Location permission to scan for Bluetooth devices; Poultry Curve does not read, save or send your location.
  • When you set up a shed device, the Wi-Fi name and password you type go from your phone to the device over Bluetooth, never to our servers.

We do not read your contacts, your SMS messages or your location.

Why we use it

  • To run the app for you: keep your records, work out costs, FCR and profit, and make your reports and PDF statements.
  • To answer your questions to the Munshi assistant and make the entries you ask it to make.
  • To sign you in and keep your account safe, including one-time SMS codes to check your number or reset your password.
  • To send the reminders you turned on (daily log, vaccines, feed).
  • To answer your support messages and confirm plan payments.
  • To find and fix problems.

Where it is stored

Your data is kept on secure servers used by Poultry Curve and travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Passwords are stored as one-way hashes. Uploaded photos are kept in your business’s own folder on the server, under names nobody can guess. The AI service behind Munshi may process your messages outside Pakistan.

Who can see it

  • Your business’s own team: the people the owner adds in Team, each within their role. For example, a worker sees only the farms given to them and no money screens.
  • The Poultry Curve team, only to give you support, fix a problem or confirm a payment.
  • Companies that run parts of the service for us (server hosting and network (Cloudflare), SMS delivery, push notifications on the website, and the AI service behind Munshi: OpenRouter and Google), only to do that work.
  • Authorities, only when the law of Pakistan requires it.

We do not sell your data

We do not sell or rent your personal data or your farm records to anyone, and we do not use them for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your records while your account is open. Munshi chats are kept until you start a new chat or delete your account (when the AI assistant is switched off, Munshi’s simple chat is kept until you delete your account). The activity log of a business (who changed what) is kept for two years. Sign-in code records (your phone number, the time and the IP address) are deleted after 30 days. A photo you remove from a bill or a health case, or a logo you replace, is deleted from our server within 30 days. Messages you sent to our support team, including reports of Munshi answers, are kept without your name, phone number or email after you delete your account. When you delete your account, your data is removed as described below; server backups, if any, are overwritten on their normal cycle.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself at any time: in the app (Settings → Delete my account) or on the delete account page.

  • Your login (name, phone number, email and password) is removed and you are signed out on every phone.
  • A business only you use is deleted with all its farms, flocks, records and photos.
  • A business other people still use stays with them, with the entries you made there shown as “Deleted user”.
  • Your Munshi chats are deleted in every business, and your name and phone number are removed from the team history of every business.
  • Businesses other people still use keep their activity log for up to two years: what was changed, when, and from which internet (IP) address.
  • Notes you wrote on health cases in those businesses stay, with your name.
  • If you are the only owner of a business other people use, first make one of them an owner (or remove them).

Your choices

You can correct or delete entries in the app, download PDF statements, turn reminders off in Settings, and change the language at any time.

Delete some of your data

Without deleting your account you can:

  • delete entries, parties and staff in the app (open the item, then Delete);
  • remove a photo from a bill or a health case (the file is deleted from our server within 30 days);
  • clear your Munshi chat (Munshi → menu → New chat);
  • for anything else, send us a message from the app (Settings → Help and support) or the contact page, and we will delete it.

Children

Poultry Curve is a tool for farm businesses and is not meant for children.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date at the top. For important changes we also tell you in the app.
