Why farms switch

The notebook cannot tell you these things. Your phone can.

Poultry Curve follows how a Pakistani farm already works: udhaar, peti, truck weights and feed bags are first-class, not afterthoughts.

FCR on day 20, not day 40

The notebook only tells you how the batch went after the last truck leaves. Poultry Curve shows FCR, mortality and cost per kg every day, while you can still fix things.

Udhaar that reminds you

Old balances hide in a diary. Here every sale and bill updates the party khata, sorted by age, and the oldest ones show up in your notifications.

Numbers you can show a partner

Every figure traces back to the entry behind it. A cycle statement or a party ledger goes out as a PDF on WhatsApp in one tap.

A tour of the app

Real screens from a real farm account

Every picture below is the actual app running on demo data, not a drawing. This is what your team will see.

Daily log

One short form per shed, done in a minute.

Morning and evening deaths, day and night feed, weight, water, diesel and medicine. The app shows which sheds still need today's log and lets you fill in a missed day.

  • Plus and minus buttons, no typing needed for the usual numbers
  • A streak strip shows every day logged, and the ones that were missed
  • Saving the same day again updates it, so corrections are easy
  • Layer farms log eggs by grade instead of weight
Daily log screen: Batch 7 Shed A, 7,887 birds alive, 266 deaths, 62.5 bags of feed, and a list of saved days with deaths and feed per day

Flock numbers

FCR, EPEF and cost per kg on day 13, not after the cycle ends.

Every daily log feeds the flock page: birds alive, mortality, feed used, average weight against target, and what the batch has cost so far per bird and per kilogram.

  • Live FCR and EPEF with plain-language bands (poor, commercial, good, excellent)
  • Chick deliveries, free chicks and culls tracked per batch
  • Compare batches and sheds on the same numbers
  • A full profit and loss when the cycle closes
Flock detail screen: day 13 of 38, 7,887 birds alive of 8,160 placed, 3.4% mortality, FCR 1.03, EPEF 277, feed used, water, cost per kg and chick deliveries

Sales and purchases

Sales by truck weight. Bills by the bag.

Record a live-weight sale with the empty and loaded truck weights, the rate, discounts and what was paid on the spot. Feed bills are bags times rate, less discount, plus tax and delivery, with a photo of the bill.

  • Per-bird and cash sales, litter and empty-bag sales counted as income
  • Feed, chicks, medicine, diesel and electricity bills by vendor
  • Paid, part-paid and unpaid shown on every entry
  • Egg sales by peti, tray or dozen on layer farms
Sales screen: total sales Rs 2.05 crore and Rs 15.29 lakh on udhaar, with a list of live-weight sales to buyers marked paid or unpaid

Udhaar

Who owes you, whom you owe, and for how long.

Every sale and bill updates the party's khata. Balances are sorted by age, so an unpaid sale from 45 days ago stands out before it becomes a problem.

  • Ageing bar: 0 to 7 days, 8 to 30, 31 to 60, over 60
  • Record a payment received or paid in two taps
  • A ledger per party that you can send on WhatsApp as a PDF
  • Cash book and bank accounts next to it
Udhaar screen: Rs 15.29 lakh to collect from 3 parties and Rs 36.76 lakh to pay, an ageing bar by days, and the buyers who owe with how old each balance is

Health and vaccines

Vaccines on time. A plan when something looks wrong.

A vaccine schedule per batch with reminders, and Disease Watch: open a case when birds look sick, add a photo, get suggested first steps and bring your vet into the same case.

  • Overdue and due-tomorrow vaccines show on the flock and in notifications
  • Cases marked open, watching, resolved or lost, with the history kept
  • Medicine stock with low-stock warnings
  • Vets get their own login, limited to health and logs
Health and vaccines screen: five health cases such as gasping in Shed 1 at night, marked open, watching, resolved or lost

Reports

Profit and loss per cycle, as a PDF on WhatsApp.

Revenue, costs by category and the profit or loss of a batch, farm or month. Sales, purchases, expenses, mortality, feed, weight and ledger reports, each with a period filter, a chart and a share link.

  • Cycle statement for partners and banks
  • Party statements and employee ledgers
  • CSV and PDF export of every report
  • Share a report with a link that opens without the app
Reports screen: the cycle total with a Send button, then profit and loss, sales, purchases, expenses and cash book reports

Team and payroll

Everyone sees their part. Nobody sees more.

Owner, admin, supervisor, worker and vet, each with the right view. Daily attendance with one tap per worker, advances and salaries, and month-end payroll with a payslip for each employee.

  • Workers and supervisors write logs without seeing a single rupee
  • Attendance: present, absent, leave or half day
  • Payroll run with advances deducted automatically
  • Partners and their shares, farm assets, and an activity log of who changed what
Team and roles screen: owner, admin, worker, vet and supervisor members with what each one can see

Munshi assistant

Tell Munshi what happened. It makes the entry.

Type like you talk, in English, Urdu or Roman Urdu. Munshi records deaths and feed straight away, and shows sales, bills, payments and deletions as a card that waits for your Confirm.

  • Daily log

"shed 1 evening deaths 3, night feed 22 bags"

  • Purchases

"bought 60 bags feed at 9,300 from Ali Feeds, paid cash"

  • Sales

"sold 1,500 kg at 305 to Bilal, he will pay next week"

  • Questions

"kitna udhaar hai?" or "is batch ka FCR kya hai?"

  • Money entries and deletions are never saved without your Confirm
  • Ask questions too: udhaar, FCR, feed left, who owes what
  • 150 assistant credits on the trial, 750 a month on Premium
Munshi assistant chat: the farmer types "aaj 14 murghiyan mari batch 14" in Roman Urdu and Munshi records 14 deaths for Batch 14 and answers a question about udhaar

How it works

From the first chick to the final statement in three steps

  1. 1

    Add your farm and sheds

Name the farm, add sheds, and place a batch with the chick count and rate. About five minutes, in your language.

  2. 2

    Log the day

Workers fill the one-minute form or tell Munshi in plain words. Feed, deaths and weights land in the right place.

  3. 3

    Know your numbers

Cash book, udhaar, FCR and profit update by themselves. Send a PDF statement when a partner or buyer asks.

Team roles

A big-button screen for the shed. The full picture for the owner.

A supervisor opens the app and sees one job: count today's shed, one question at a time, with a button to raise the alarm when birds look sick. The owner sees every farm together.

Everything, team and billing
Admin
Everything except team and billing
Supervisor

What farmers and vets tell us

Illustrative examples of the feedback we build for, not named customer endorsements.

Earlier I counted feed bags in a notebook and argued about it at month end. Now the number is already there.
Broiler farmer, PunjabSample feedback
My munshi types in Roman Urdu and it understands. I check the entries in the evening from home.
Farm owner, SindhSample feedback
I can look at a case photo and notes from my clinic and suggest the next step without a farm visit.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do I need a computer, or is my phone enough?
Your phone is enough. Poultry Curve is built for small screens first. It also runs in a desktop browser if your munshi or accountant prefers a bigger screen, with the same account and the same data.
What happens when there is no internet at the shed?
You keep working. Daily logs, sales and bills are saved on the phone and sync by themselves when the signal comes back. A weak network never stops the day.
Can my staff use it without seeing the money?
Yes. Workers and supervisors write daily logs, vaccines and health notes but cannot see sales, bills or balances. Vets see health cases, vaccines and logs only. Owners and admins see everything.
Does it work in Urdu?
The whole app runs in English, Urdu (اردو) or Roman Urdu, and you can switch at any time in Settings. The Munshi assistant understands plain Roman Urdu such as "aaj 4 murghi mar gayi".
Is my data safe if my phone is lost?
Your records live on our servers, not only on the phone. Sign in from a new phone and everything that has synced is there. You can also export PDF statements at any time, and delete your account yourself.
Can I bring my old khata?
Yes. Start a running batch from today and add opening balances for each party, so udhaar picks up exactly where your notebook stopped.
How do I pay after the 3-month free trial?
By JazzCash, Easypaisa or bank transfer. Nothing is asked for during the trial, and no card is needed. If you take time to decide, nothing is deleted.
